Hi everyone,
After many deliberations we have decided to focus on the subject of “Learning Disabilities”, with correlation to this year’s main theme , “Transparency”. We want to assist reflecting the possible existence of a learning disability to a teacher/specialist in a child by detecting similar common grounds of people who has learning disabilities from adult people who have learning disabilities and people who have to deal with people with learning disabilities like parents, teachers, and specialists. After our interviews we have learnt that early detections can be done as earliest as kindergarten and if we start a treatment to cope/handle/manage the learning disability in early age , could help the child to cope with it in the future. So we have delved further in this subject matter, to find out our exact need, problem and solution.
This week we are working on presenting our findings via a presentation to our mentors at IDC, which will present our problem, our needs and how we want to solve the problem.
