Technological Progress & kindergarten teacher review

Updated: May 4, 2021

Earlier this week we met Stav Moran-Leshem, an expert in micro-copy.

It allowed us to get another perspective on the feedback of the product and the wireframes.

We've also returned to one of the kindergarten teachers that we interviewed at the beginning of the process. We've presented the latest version of our product and received some important feedback. During our conversation, we've discussed a few issues that were raised from speed mentoring during our last lesson.

The teacher told us that she prefers that the children play the game in their free time independently, even though there is some background noise in the kindergarten setting.

Accordingly, we've decided that the game will be used mainly in the free time of the children. The teacher can use the stored data in order to be aware of struggling children, the number of each child plays is uniformly distributed.

She has recommended that each session will be timed to a short session of 3 minutes, and in the end, it will be signed off with a good vibe message, such as "You were awesome! it was so much fun!"

During each session, if a child isn't succeed to answere the questions correctly, we shouldn't use any negative words such as 'No'. Better feedback should be "Try again". The next time the question is heard, it will sound slower.

She also wishes to select the subject of the sessions in accordance with the material taught during class. In addition, the game should include a shuffle session. This way, the product can empower children's learning.

We also continued to prepare the technological aspect of our product. Our team decided on the content for the next user testing, and we prepped it accordingly (software, hardware and inserted the content to the product).
