Speed Mentoring Event

Updated: Jan 4, 2021

This week, we have presented our work process in front of a few mentors that come from different fields of interest and perspective, which was very valuable for us.

We had 20 minutes with each mentor to present our ideas and get as much feedback as possible from them.

The mentors gave us good feedbacks and said we found a real need.

In addition, they gave us a few points that we need to consider in the solution level.

Main points:

The importance of feedback

  • We should think how will the product reflect a child's experience of success and failure

  • We should not use scores in the game's results, in order to avoid competition among the children.

  • We should think when do the children receive the feedback and how

Feedbacks that related to the product's environment:

  • We should think how will the product overcome noisy children, and avoid interrupting kids?

Feedbacks that related to the product's solution (mini-games):

  • We should check how many samples (games) are needed to diagnose a child?

  • We should decide how many games will a kid play in each session?

  • We should think how will we make sure that all children use the product?

  • We should think how will the product fit himself to the player's individual level of skill?

  • We should decide when will the game difficulty increase?

  • We should think how will we create a retention?

The mentors raised important and interesting points that opened new ways of thinking. We have summarized all the information and and think about how we can improve our solution.

In the end, we have created a scenario that describes the product use.

See you all next week :)
